The Bell Inn in Hampton has been listed in the Gastropub of the year Awards for 2013.

The Awards is run by industry magazine, The Publican's Morning Advertiser.

The award comes after votes from pub food experts, chefs and pub guide editors from all over the country.

The Bell Inn is operated by local pub company Absolute Pubs, but they're yet to find out where in the list they'll sit.

Owner of Absolute Pubs Simon Bailey said, "We're delighted to have made it onto the Top 50 Gastropubs list."

The Baileys have been running the Bell Inn since 2010 and have turned it into a thriving pub, which is a favourite among local residents and workers.

The Baileys will find out their position on the Top 50 Gastropubs list at a special winners' lunch on 28th January.

The awards are now in their fifth year.
