Description of man connected to Hampton Hill abduction attempt

Richmond police have released a description of a man connected to an alleged child abduction in Hampton Hill yesterday morning. 

The suspect is believed to be a man wearing a grey hooded top, grey jogging bottoms, white trainers and a grey plastic style watch.

The victim was approached from behind and was picked up from around the waist. She was carried off towards Park Road, TW12.

She was able to kick out at the suspect who released his grip and she made her way back to the family home.

The alleged incident is believed to have taken place shortly after 08:30am in St James Avenue, Hampton Hill.

The victim was not physically hurt.

The child does not attend Hampton Hill Juniors, but parents are being told to remain alert and vigilant.
