Children at Corona Theatre school in Hampton, with aspirations of being an actor or actress could be relocated to a new school.

It's because the theatre school has lost one of it's main financial investors, who's been hit hard by the current economic climate.

If a new investor can't be found by the end of the month, the building on Oldfield Road could be auctioned off.

Staff at the school will have to find new jobs as well, if the school isn't saved.

Corona Theatre school has been teaching children about acting and the stage since 1948.

The local authority has an obligation to find children a new school should it close.

Headteacher Mary Greco says: "Time is imminent, I'm more worried about the children, we're a very nurturing school."

"Parents and teachers are all pulling together, we love working here and it pays off."
