Richmond borough council have published a guide explaining the financial aspects of their care services.
The guide called 'Paying for adult social care' will lay out the information about how much they may have to contribute towards the cost of their care.
It also provides information on organisations they can contact for advice on financial matters related to their care and support.
Although many people are entitled to receive fully subsidised services, those who can afford are asked to contribute towards the cost of their care services.
Councillor Nicola Urquhart, Cabinet Member for Adults Social Care, Health and Housing said: "Financial matters relating to care services can be very worrying and we really want to ensure our residents have as much assistance help and support available to them as possible."
