Hampton's best for Christmas shopping

Shocking maybe, but the lights are now up in the windows,

the mince pies are in the shops and people are starting to plan their Christmas

shopping!

Hamptonpeople would like to help you as much as possible by

linking you with the best places and gift ideas for the festive season.

Here's what you can pick up in Hampton:

Attic is a lovely shop situated on Hampton Hill high street.

It sells anything from nice things for your home to jewelry or furniture. This

would be a great place to shop for stocking fillers and really nice xmas

decorations. It is quite pricey but you'll find something great.

Bradley & Brown in Hampton Court is another lovely

little shop that sells a collection of things. This is definitely the best local

shop for gifts and cheaper than other similar shops. Bags, purses, humorous gifts,

baby presents…they sell the lot. Always served by really friendly staff this is

a great place for xmas presents of any budget.

The Hampton Court Emporium is a real adventure for shopping.

The shop hosts a lot of antiques and although it looks very packed it is a

great place to search for the perfect gift. If you're looking for a present

that looks old and full of meaning then this is the place – clothes, plates, jewelry,

leather goods – you'll have fun!  

Squires Garden Centre, Long Ditton has a lovely gift area if

you are looking for smaller things such as calendars, cards, candles and nice

potted jams. Stop for a cup of tea in their café whilst you shop and it is obviously

a great place for the garden lovers.

Limetree Deli, Thames Ditton would be a perfect place for

any foodies in the family. They sell lovely homemade jams, chutneys, biscuits

etc. This would also be ideal for stocking up the cupboards pre-Christmas. Call 0208 972 9287

Bachmanns Patisserie, Portsmouth Road is another great place

for those with a sweet tooth. After winning the Baking Innovation award for their

chocolate Christmas pudding last year you do not want to buy your xmas pud

anywhere else! They have also won awards for their chocolates so this is the

place to buy handmade chocolates to give as a gift.

Maison Bleu, Thames Ditton is a lovely home interior shop selling

a range of gifts, and accessories for the home. It may be pricey, but the range

Photography would also be a lovely gift – the village has

local photographer, Micaela Cianci, who would be able to do a family portrait

Another nice idea for the ladies could be a makeover – Karen

Smyth is an image consultant offering a range of services that would make a

great gift. Choose from colour analysis, wardrobe management or personal

shopping.
