Investigation opens for the death of a Hampton Hill resident

The news has just broken about the death of a Hampton Hill resident who was discovered face down in the pond at her home on the 9 February.
Police have launched an investigation into the unexplained death of Jean Ryan aged 52. Mrs Ryan worked for Richmond Council for over 20 years, helping vulnerable people to live better lives.
Fulham Mortuary has carried out a post-mortem examination and concluded Mrs Ryan died by drowning at her home which she shared with her husband and two sons.
West London Coroner's Court opened an inquest on Monday which will be adjourned until police conclude their investigation.
Police arrested a 46-year-old man, believed to be Mrs Ryan's husband, on the day she was found and have released him on bail until April.
