Ladbrokes in Hampton Court Way robbed

A man suspected of carrying a gun has robbed Ladbrokes on Hampton Court Way.

The man entered the branch, carrying a gun shaped item in a blue bag at around 6pm last night.
A customer challenged the suspect, however he was able to get away with a quantity of cash.
Detectives have released a CCTV image of the suspect who is described as a white man, aged in his 20s, of slim build.
He was wearing a black top with a zip, a black hood or hat and black sunglasses.
Detective Constable Claire Langdon, investigating, said: "A customer in the bookmakers gave chase along Creek Road but lost sight of the man in Palace Road."
"We are making enquiries in the vicinity but would appeal to anyone else who was in the Palace Road area who may have seen this man to call police immediately."
Ladbrokes are offering a reward in conjunction with the Association of British Bookmakers (ABB) of up to £10,000 for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the man responsible.
