New computers due for pupils at Hampton Academy

Students at Hampton Academy are to recieve new computers which combine the technology of a notebook and a tablet computer.

Year 9 students from both Wordsworth and Conrad colleges
The ASUS transformers have already been trialed at Wordsworth and Conrad colleges with year 9 pupils, with positive results.
The idea is that the new technology will be intergrated into the curriculum, with the idea of working from home could be introduced with the help of new apps and educational software.
The new technology is also designed to help touch typing, and condensing books such as dictionaries and language guides into one tablet.
