The Queen's Jubliee - The Big Lunch!

It may seem early, but plans are underway for the Queen's Jubliee in June. There are a variety of events happening, and one of them would be a great way of celebrating with your family and friends in Hampton! Building on the already popular "Big Lunch" initiative, people will be encouraged to share lunch with neighbours and friends as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. The Big Lunch can be anything from a traditional street party to a picnic lunch in small or larger groups.

Some 10 million people came out in sunny 1977 to celebrate the Silver Jubilee so the organisers hope a large number of people do the same for the Diamond Jubilee and take part in The Big Lunch.
