Why on earth do the council insist on putting pointless single yellow line restrictions where they are not required? The area I am refering to is outside a Hampton railway station and also by the shops towards Wenslydale Rd (pharmacy and bakery). This is quite simply not necessary and takes income from the local shops. The people in the chemists said that a year or so ago they had a council official attend the area but they flatly refused even a bay for disabled. ...Nasty, stupid little officials. This is a London problem and affects many areas and makes life for locals that much more difficult.
