A fantastic festival of books & words, tales, talks, ideas & thoughts
Now in its' 22nd year, the Richmond Literature Festival is a calendar highlight for the borough and beyond.
Taking place throughout the whole of November the programme features an exciting and varied line up of authors, commentators and leading figures from the world of journalism, television, food, history and politics.
Highlights from this years' main programme include Charles Moore, author of the authorized Margaret Thatcher biography speaking at Richmond Theatre; Sir Max Hastings; novelist and journalist Daisy Waugh and the BBC's Antiques Roadshow's Marc Allum sharing his expertise at Marble Hill House.
There are events on cocktails and beer, food and gardening, panel discussions, workshops, poetry and spoken word, as well as a Children and Young People's programme.
Many of the festival events are set among prestigious heritage locations including Marble Hill House, Strawberry Hill House, as well as the borough's libraries and other interesting spaces.
