Davina Hawthorne loves to feel special, and she wants her customers to get the same feeling.

As a small independent label we have the luxury of figuring out our own path and our own destiny. When the task of the High Street is to please everybody, it is our destiny to tailor our designs & services to make each women feel really glamorous & special, the way fashion houses have always done for the lucky few, but of course we need to do it in a contemporary way.

New times, demand new solutions and our solutions are called the "Fashion Surgery" and the "Fashion Party". Basically you don't come to us - of course you are still more than welcome to - We come to you!

The difference between a "Fashion Surgery" and a "Fashion Party" is that a "Fashion Surgery" is a scheduled event in different locations, both nationally and internationally, hosted by us where we invite local women to book an individual appointment.
A "Fashion Party" is normally hosted by a satisfied client. They want to share Davina Hawthorne with her friends, and host a party at their own residence or their place of work.
Whats more fantastic than having a made to measure boutique visit you at your home!? As the host you get to have fun shopping in the comfort of your home with friends, not only that the host gets 10% cash or 20% to spend on any designs.
Davina also takes her made to measure service to different locations i.e to small independent boutiques, other design studios, hotels, cafes etc.

Davina Hawthorne will in both events be present to show her collection and take measurements of the clients that decide to commission a piece.
The collection includes Davina’s own hand printed dresses that are adaptable to various body sizes. Jersey wool dresses, boleros & neckpieces with recycled & hand crafted detailing. Most pieces can be ordered in a variety of colours too!
Her designs are classic, fun, wearable, comfortable, glamourous and sexy all rolled into one!
When describing her designs Davina Hawthorne emphasises their ethical basis: ‘My designs are sustainable through the use of recycled materials and the use of local production in the UK. I collaborate with craftmakers to create handmade details within the designs”.
These elements combined with the quality, uniqueness and individuality of her designs make them the very opposite of high street ‘fast fashion.’
She goes on to say ‘Its so fantastic to meet the people that wear my designs through my fashion parties and made to measure services. I get more ideas that way it really pushes the designs forward in terms of fit and function. I get great satisfaction from working with the customer directly, I think they also appreciate meeting the designer and having a say in the final product’. The best part is that Davina can guarantee a consultancy service whereby she can advice on any alterations to accommodate change in taste, size and after care. She explains ‘I really want to build a relationship with my customers & for them to have their pieces in their wardrobes for a very long time!’
