Not every cloud has a silver lining!

When the sun is shining there is nothing better than walking along the river, and joining the chilled Sunday vibes around Hampton Court.

Today I did just that and joined a friend for coffee. With the weather being so delightful we sat outside 'Five in the Afternoon' which felt a bit like a bit like being on the french Riveira, just a few degrees colder!

Then I noticed that Cloud 9, the big place on the corner with all the pink going on inside, has gone. It only opened last summer and the tapas and cocktail menus were a great hit, especially on a Saturday night, so I was shocked to see it has now been replaced by 'The Hamptons'.

I could still spot the pink chairs inside, but the place looked like it has lost its 'buzz'.

Sadly I didn't have time to check it out, so anyone who has been or can spread the light on what happened to Cloud 9...write it here!

Hot Rock food..blimey, not sure hot coals sound very tasty! However, it does make me want to check it out so mission accomplished! How come Kingston Time & Leisure is doing the deal?

Looks the same to me - pink chairs are still there...opening offer is 2 courses + glass of wine for £29 lunch or dinner Monday - Thursday - just mention Kingston Time & Leisure magazine when you book 020 8 979 7676...they are doing 'hot rock food' - no idea what that is .......

Do you know why Cloud 9 went as I thought it was a popular choice?

Does anywhere have later opening hours?

Cloud nine is now called the Hamptons, it's pretty much the same as before excluding the loud the music.
