What a pity. It's a shame it does not have a consistent level of service / quality of food. I recently tried The Good Earth in Esher, and that place comes with a big reputation...and price tag! But the takeaway was also soggy, tasteless and dry. Chinese food is bad for you anyway!!

What a shame! I was looking forward to a good Chinese meal on New Year's Eve only to be very disappointed with the quality of the food. The staff were very friendly and the table was decorated with party hats, streamers and poppers. Sadly, the food was not good - particularly the second course which included chicken chow mein and the noodles were hard and uncooked. All in all, the dishes were very soggy and lacking in flavour.
Real China has recently had a makeover by designer Peter Corbett and the interior is funky, modern and stylish. With leather sofas and red and gold decor it has created a real lavish atmosphere. Located in Thames Ditton village it has the sophisticated of a London venue, and the food is still as great as ever. It would be a great place for your Xmas party!
