Hampton Beds opened before Christmas in the former Barclays' Bank premises in Milton Road near Hampton station and has been offering leading brands of beds, mattresses, duvets, memory foam, pillows and other bedroom furniture.

Angus who lived most of this life in the area, spent twenty six years selling beds but when he was made redundant he decided to start a business of his own. Despite competition from larger retailers Angus says that he is able to offer competitive prices for his products and is confident people will always value personal service in a local shop.
